11.2023 / Por la sombrita, mi amor



Nombramos nuestras algunas cosas que compartimos y que no tienen cuerpo o que son invisibles. Cosas que no podemos poseer porque pertenecen igualmente a otros: una memoria, un idioma, una amistad, este presente, una receta, el aire que inhalamos que es el mismo que se vuelve palabras, gritos y gemidos en bocas *ajenas*.

*una mesa, una cama, una ventana* Invitamos a cinco artistas: Daniela Hoyos (Medellín) , Simón Ramirez (Medellín/Nueva York), Juan Pablo Gaviria Bedoya (Bogotá/Cali/Berlín) , Andrea Ganuza (Pamplona) y Natalia Perez (Medellín), a pensar en aquello que llaman suyo, lo que nombran hogar y su propia cotidianidad, para elaborar piezas que pudieran ser exhibidas en casas, obras seriadas para que puedan ser tanto suyas como nuestras y de otros.

Can you imagine yourself with a tail on top of your head, or can you imagine yourself with just a head and a tail? We take for granted things we involuntarily accept as truth, such as notions, history, science, stereotypes, and social order - all of which are defined by the mainstream. This is often different from the truth. "Me," "my body," "my thoughts," and "everything around me" can't be simply categorized as true or false or defined by a single point of view. Heads and tails are furthest from the centre of the body, yet they can still intersect, traversing understandings of reality and the periphery based on pluralism...

ABRASO*,  the Mobile Center of Intratropical Artistic Research and Affective Practices, announces its first action: REDSHIFT, a corporal speculation.

Taking advantage of the equinox and the seasonal transition, this Saturday 23.09 a short proxemic study for the temporal reconfiguration of distances and measurements will occur at Der Laden, Weimar.

Come from 11 a.m. to the end of the day to be part of this performative interview.
